Description: As we consider the next phases in the development of strategies for maintaining instructional continuity during crises, understanding what pre-planning worked well this time will help us create permanent, living plans for the future. Fires, floods, and earthquakes (among other things) are sure to happen again and we need to be ready! Join Pat as she facilitates this discussion among these expert panelists to hear their stories of preparation and strategies that worked during this time of essential transition of courses to the online environment. The session will highlight what worked during the COVID event and how to plan to be ready for anything that comes our way in the future. A sample disaster planning guide will be distributed during the session. We won’t leave instruction as an afterthought ever again!
