Susan McCoy

I began my career in the area of Corporate Wellness and discovered my love for teaching. However, I wanted to add more of a clinical component to it and returned back to school to become a nurse. I was commissioned as a Navy Nurse Corps Officer and practiced in the critical care area for 10 years. My love for teaching never stopped and I pursued teaching at the Community College and 4-year University level in the areas of nursing and health science. I have now been teaching for 23 years (with 15 of them being online) and continue to love it! Currently, I am a full-time faculty member at the University of Providence in Great Falls, Montana and teach in their RN-BSN online program. I live in the sunny and hot city of Austin, TX.
