Dr. Tanya Murray has taught science courses such as Human Anatomy, Introductory Biology, Environmental Science, and Botany at Saddleback and Golden West Colleges. Her interests in the field of Biology are quite broad, with experience in industry including environmental consulting locally and research for a neuroscience education institute. Dr. Murray now teaches Diversity of Organisms, Introductory Biology, Human Anatomy, and Marine Science at Coastline College, and she has developed courses and research opportunities for majors and non-majors that include topics in ecology, marine science, and human anatomy. Tanya earned her Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from Syracuse University, where she studied microbial ecology and ecosystem sustainability in Yellowstone National Park. She currently serves on the Equivalency Committee for the Coast Community College District and on the Academic Senate for Coastline College.
