This session is for anyone who wants to learn more about the CVC-OEI Peer Online Course Review (POCR) experience. Whether you are joining the Course Design Academy, engaging in course review on your campus, or just a little POCR curious, we are here to demystify the process and provide you with tips to help you achieve a “quality aligned” course. Come learn how to apply the OEI Course Design Rubric to your course and how to earn a “Quality” course badge from CVC-OEI.

Bring your laptop and we’ll give you practical tips you can apply to your course design right away. We also welcome instructional designers, DE support staff, and anyone else who wants to know how they can support instructors as they work to enhance their online courses.

Session Outcomes:
• Self-assess their online course design using key elements of the rubric.
• Check for and remediate basic accessibility issues in their Canvas course.
• Make course design changes prior to a review that will help them achieve alignment more quickly.
