Want to take your online class out of the background and into your student’s world? Yet maintain quality instruction… essential for a science class. We don’t claim to know all the answers but we will share how we used the Conferzoom video meeting tool along with the tool Rich Content Editor – in Canvas – to meet our pedagogic goals while fulfilling OEI guidelines. In this two-semester study you will learn how we used both tools. We will share the research instrument designed to assess student attitudes around the video meeting tool, and present the feedback we received from students, both concurrently and post-course. We will brainstorm as a group and you will leave with concrete ideas on how you can use these tools to take your science course into your student’s world.
