With the support from the California Community College (CCC) Chancellor’s Office, in collaboration with @ONE and the CCC Accessibility Center, accessibility support for course design is now available for all faculty and staff. In the form of self-paced micro-courses, faculty can learn how to create an equitable course.
The free self-paced micro-courses include: Canvas Accessibility, Microsoft Word Accessibility, PDF Accessibility, Video Captioning and PowerPoint Accessibility
This session will also explore how accessibility and usability are the same, and how the accessibility principles, found in all the free micro-courses, are essential for supporting success and effective course design. Not just for some students, but for all your students! Be ahead of the game in course design with these brand-new free resources, and pro-tips to quicken your course design process.
