This presentation will focus on the Online Education Initiative’s (OEI) continued efforts to improve student success and completion rates by utilizing Culturally Responsive Teaching and Learning (CRTL) pedagogy and practices to reduce equity and opportunity gaps in the online learning environment. Effective strategies that support equitable outcomes for all students across disciplines and in the delivery of services will be discussed, and the OEI’s efforts to improve online students’ sense of belonging and foster engagement through equatized courses in math, English, counseling, and online programs, will be introduced.
