eLearning has been adopted by many institutions seeking to tap into the potential to connect students to powerful learning resources they can access at any time and place. Unfortunately, although we all recognize the power of technology in connecting students and stimulating collaboration, many eLearning environments tend to become simple online sites where teachers post information and resources for students and drop boxes for students to leave their assignments. In this session you’ll learn how to create a vibrant online environment where students and teachers can truly work collaboratively and learn together. We’ll explore a range of online tools and techniques that can be used to collect and annotate group resources, map and design on shared whiteboards, edit collaborative documents and video, have live and asynchronous conversations, take impromptu online polls, and much more.
