Cerro Coso Community College has trained and continues to train its faculty on how to design accessible courses and ADA compliance law for online courses. Additionally, faculty are provided with support and tools to assist with designing accessible courses. However, these efforts have not given the college the confidence that all of its online course sections will be accessible; hence, the college has stepped up its effort to meet online course accessibility requirements with its first Distance Education Accessibility Plan.
