Working in teams either brings groans or squeals of delight from students. As instructors, we want students to squeal with delight and learn. Therefore, we will be sharing about a project that aimed at engaging students in meaningful learning through the effective use of teams. Collaboration is a skill that is often sought from employers and a skill that we can teach our students. The five key strategies used to form and facilitate the teams will be identified and described. Additionally, pre/post assessment scores will be shared. Lastly, future directions will be discussed with audience input.
