This session will show you five foolproof tips that blend key neuroscience principles with adult learning theory to design effective instruction that excites and engages your students and turns learning into success. Teaching is more than presenting a concept and asking students to demonstrate that they can repeat it back to us. We feel the most important purpose of a teacher is to spark that dynamic interplay of curiosity, exploration and engagement that results in learning. But how can we foster that in our students, especially in an online environment? Come learn!

Session Outcomes:
• Apply adult learning theory to enhance their course design.
• Design content and activities that increase student engagement and motivation.
