Nicole Major teaches Sociology and Gerontology and coordinates the Gerontology Program at Saddleback Community College. In addition to her teaching, she is involved with Service Learning, the Online Education Committee, the Student Success Committee, the Career Technical Education Committee, and serves as the Co-Chair for the Open Educational Resources (OER) Task Force. In the past, Nicole directed the Foster and Kinship Care Education Program, which is a part of the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office. Nicole received her BA in Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and her MA in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton.
