You heard about iClickers and Polls Everywhere. Would you believe there is a more advanced, new and fun way of collecting responses from learners and even meeting attendees, and keep the conversation engaging? In comes Kahoot! There is nothing to buy and nothing to install. For the facilitator, the app is web based, and it is easy to set up a Game Student Response System (GSRS). For the learners, they can download their app on the phone or use the web with a unique access code, and they are “game on.” It is an excellent way to engage students in conversation, meetings, and even collect answers for quizzes and exams. Forget those scantrons and blue books. Stop charging students for toys they may already have! You can take scores and upload them into Canvas or Blackboard. Oh forgot one thing: ITS FREE!
